In my 14 years of being a property investor, I’ve done it the hard way. I understand what it takes to build a successful portfolio. I didn’t have a silver spoon, nor a background in business. But through determination, and trial and error, I built a secondary income which went on to be my primary income when I moved on from social work in 2017. I won’t waste your time and I’ll equip you with the knowledge you need to feel confident in this industry, notorious for sharks.
Why am I offering coaching now?
Back in 2013 my story caught the eye of a property author Rob Dix, who was looking to write a book on the journeys of a small number of UK property investors. The more he learnt about my story, (including turning £30,000 worth of debt into £1.5 million worth of property in a few short years, while working up to 60 hours a week as a social worker and being a single mum), the more interested he was in featuring me in his book. The book is called Beyond The Bricks and was a best-selling property investment book in the UK in 2014.
Since the book was published, I’ve been approached by many people wanting me to coach them. It was only recently, following a chance meeting with a fellow property coach, I decided to turn my extensive experience into a vehicle to serve others. My son has grown into a strong, talented, independent young man, enabling me to pursue this new path. I’m excited at the prospect of helping people from all walks of life to realise the dream of becoming a property investor.

Why now is the very best time to look at investing in property?
It’s an established fact that we are overdue a recession. And this next one is going to be a biggie. If you have money in the bank, you run the risk of losing it to ‘bail-ins’. New legislation was brought in to protect the banks, not you as a savvy saver. More so than ever, we need multiple streams of income. In a world that seems to be speeding up perpetually, having extra income sources that provide revenue, while we spend time with our family, is not only vital to our well-being, it’s also a necessity. How many times have you asked yourself how long you could carry on working the hours you do, while your children get older?
Is property investment safe nowadays?
The age old saying of ‘safe as houses’ still stands. Everyone will always need accommodation. And the housing crisis in the UK deepens year by year, as the government fails to address the ever-increasing need for decent housing, while reducing their responsibilities for social housing. It’s true that landlords have been given a raw deal from the government in recent years. However, knowledge is power, and there are ways to structure your property portfolio to maximise your income and reduce the pitfalls.
But what about high interest rates?
Yes interest rates have increased significantly over the past year or so. However, so have rents. Interest rates are now plateauing. The trick is to identify locations with a strong rental demand, market competitively, making sure your outgoings are fully covered with a buffer in case there is another interest hike. It is possible. Don’t let sofa-expert scaremongers put you off venturing forth. Fortune favours the brave – and with some experienced help you can navigate issues like this and build a portfolio that will serve you and your family for years to come.

3-Month Coaching Package
Consists of:
- Weekly 1 hour fact-find and guidance Zoom calls for 12 weeks
- 15 minute overviews and homework setting.
- 4 one hour review and planning Zoom calls.
- Followed by detailed write ups emailed to you within 48 hours of the zoom.
3-month coaching package with mentoring day
Consists of:
- Weekly 1 hour fact-find and guidance Zoom calls for 12 weeks
- 15 minute overviews and homework setting.
- 4 one hour review and planning Zoom calls.
- Followed by detailed write ups emailed to you within 48 hours of the zoom.
- a full day in any location of your choice in the UK, where we meet in person and view properties, analyse deals and put in offers.
